Gisborne Freshwater Plan Decision Adopted

The Gisborne freshwater plan has been adopted by the Gisborne District Council.  The period for appeals ends 29th September 2017.  The plan includes requirements for intensively farmed stock, winter intensive grazing and stock crossings.  Farm environment plans have been used as an alternative to the minimum requirements in the rules diffuse discharges and for structures in the beds or lakes and rivers.

Irricon has been approved as a FEMP provider by the Hawkes Bay Regional Council.

Under Tukituki Plan Change 6, farms in the catchment of more than 4ha (or 10 ha if your property is low intensity) are required to submit a Farm Environment Management Plan (FEMP) by 31 May 2018.  Irrcon has been approved by the Hawkes Bay Regional as a FEMP provider.
