Jack grew up on a small farm in South Canterbury. He has a varied background, largely in adventure tourism. Re-training and graduating from Lincoln University with a degree in environmental management and planning has led to work in the environmental management field. Jack worked as compliance monitoring officer for Environment Canterbury before joining the Irricon team.
Jack is responsible for the management of the CompliancePro aspect of the business, assisting consent holders to manage and stay on top of ever growing compliance requirements.
Jack is involved in preparing resource consent applications for both Regional and District Councils as well as concession applications with the Department of Conservation. Much of his work focuses on land use consents such as those required for irrigation storage and pipelines, works in and around waterways, stream realignments and gravel takes. Other work that Jack is involved in includes surface water abstractions, dairy discharges and the preparation of Farm Environment Plans. Jack enjoys spending time with his young family, showing them some the amazing sights and recreational opportunities that can be found around the South Island, the region and in our own backyard.
